The FDIC’s Community Bankers Workshop is an interactive seminar designed to help bank directors, executives, and mid-level officers—whether new or experienced—stay ahead in today’s rapidly changing business, economic, and regulatory environment. Attendees will participate in engaging discussions and hear directly from seasoned FDIC risk management and compliance examiners and supervisors.
The program will cover key topics such as asset quality, fair lending, interest rate risk, and liquidity. It will also include a local economic update from the FDIC’s Division of Insurance and Research and a live Q&A with a regulatory panel.
In addition, attendees can earn seven hours of CPE credit through our coordination with the California Bankers Association (CBA).

join us for rapid pitch sessions where bankers and nonprofits meet quite informally to discuss the feasibility of projects or programs. A pitch session is where nonprofits present project ideas to bankers for financing or investments under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
The purpose of the pitch session is for banks to learn about and discuss programs or projects, and for the nonprofits/CBOs to have a venue to efficiently present CRA related projects or missions to several bankers who represent different institutions. Each pitch is considered as a unique pitch to a different bank. Funding decisions are made at a later time, independently by each bank, and are not guaranteed.
